Workframe for close-range photogrammetry documentation of an11KM long archaeological Eexcavation, Al AIN, UAE

From Jan–Aug 2021, DCT Abu Dhabi excavated an 11.5 km border trench in Al Ain, uncovering a Late Bronze Age tomb, an Iron Age cemetery, Late Pre-Islamic tombs, over 50 aflaj, and evidence of Iron Age farming. Nearly 300 photogrammetry sessions created 3D models and images. The paper reviews methods, challenges, data management, and presenting results from this large-scale linear excavation.
