Al-Ayn Oases Mapping Project: Jimi Oasis

The Al Ain Oases Mapping Project, a collaboration between TCA Abu Dhabi and Zayed University, documents the oasis landscape while training Emirati students in archaeology. Using non-intrusive field-walking, the second season focused on Jimi Oasis, revealing features from the Early Islamic and Iron Age periods, as well as evidence of westward expansion during the late 19th–early 20th century revitalization led by the Al Bu Falah.
